With frontage on the Exeter River, The Woods has a decidedly residential feeling with pitched, shingle roofs and
natural, cedar siding. There are 200 independent living residences, as well as quality, on-site assisted living
apartments and skilled nursing care available in the Health Center (called "The Lodge"). All of this is set among
83 acres of woods, wildflowers, and walking trails. Inside, there are common areas that include the dining room,
country store, café, library, art studios, computer lab, health club with swimming pool, and much more. Within
easy access are the many cultural and educational opportunities for which the New Hampshire Seacoast Region is
