Our Staff
RiverWoods has an exceedingly low turnover rate, with a high proportion of our staff here more than 10 years. The reason? They love what they do, and they love the environment in which they work. Over 430 employees for 580 residents allows each of our staff to get to know the residents in a personal, sincere way, providing a rare and wonderful working environment. As an independently operated company, we are also in charge of our own destiny, and work hand in hand with residents and our volunteer Board of Trustees to build a creative, thriving place to live and work, now and in the future.
As the third largest taxpayer and employer in Exeter, The RiverWoods Company currently employs more than 430 senior–living professionals. Residents, staff and a volunteer board of trustees share a spirit of cooperation and congeniality. This ability to collaborate in the pursuit of common goals helped The RiverWoods Company earn accreditation from the Continuing Care Accreditation Commission in 1998, just four years after RiverWoods at Exeter opened its doors.
We really love what we do, and several of us have been here almost since the doors opened, 15 years ago. It feels like a family to us, and we take great pride in working along side our residents. We find inspiration here every day and a sense of belonging to something greater than ourselves.
