RiverWoods Blog: Cocoa

When I was just 7 ½ months old, my birth family had to move and they brought me into the NHSPCA.  That is where my mommy found me in January, 2009.  She and my daddy took me home to Riverwoods and introduced me to my wonderful new home.

Everyone I have met at Riverwoods is really nice.   They want to scratch me behind the ears, throw a ball for me, or give me a treat.  It makes it really easy to do my main job – making people smile.

Often when I go for a walk, we go into the wooded trails around Riverwoods.  There are so many different critters who live there that the trails are full of information.  The only problem is that those squirrels won’t play with me.

I do have a lot of doggie friends here at Riverwoods.  Sometimes my doggie friends and I  go to a doggie park so that we can all run and play.  My mommy says that they are going to have one of those here at Riverwoods.  That would really be nice for both mommy and me.

Here are a couple of photos of me on the grass at Riverwoods so you can see how lovely it is here.  Now that I am a mature 2 year old, I just wanted to let everyone know that Riverwoods is a great place for dogs of all sizes.
