The Arts

Now is the time for you to try something you have always wanted to pursue, but didn’t have the chance. At RiverWoods, our residents have rediscovered their talents for the arts; from painting and drawing to three dimensional sculpture. The only thing stopping you from exploring is the lack of hours in the day. If you've never picked up a paint brush, take a painting class; or get your hands wet by throwing a pot in our studio. Perhaps you would like to share your love of fabric with one of our quilting or sewing groups that meet in our Arts and Crafts rooms. Share your writing talent with our resident-run newspaper, or blog for the website. Discover the best-stocked wood-shop in the area, where you can build anything from a jewelry box to a full sized sailboat. From oils to clay; wood and stone, our residents explore their talents and are continually surprised by what they find.
