Dining

At RiverWoods, you can expect creative and delicious meals for lunch and dinner.  Choose from a menu that changes seasonally, four times throughout the year, and features two new chef special entrees every day.  Each day’s menu offers a minimum of five different selections, ranging from beef, seafood, chicken, vegetarian and more. Fresh salads and vegetables are abundant and varied.  We aim to meet every dietary need and please every palate.  Fresh home-made breads, rolls, and desserts are prepared by the RiverWoods baker.  Our staff will uncork the resident’s personal bottle of wine to enjoy with their meals.

Our chefs are professionally trained in culinary skills and have many years experience in preparing fine dining menu items.  Our staff is also experienced in creating meals for special occasions for our residents and their guests, such as the Jingle Bell Brunch on Christmas Eve, birthday dinners, and many other events.  We use fresh herbs from our own gardens and order from local vendors when possible.

The dining rooms are elegant yet relaxed, and one is not expected to don a jacket or tie for dinner.  The dining experience is topped only by the conversations you will find around the table.  A meal at Riverwoods consists of good food, good service, and good conversation with fellow residents and friends.
