Your Life, Your Way
"RiverWoods has more than lived up to my expectations. There is a real vitality in our community!" – Maryanna Hatch, Founder and resident since 1994
RiverWoods is a not-for-profit, Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) with an extraordinary difference; it was created by residents, for residents, to foster a new way to live while growing older.
In the 1980’s, around the dining room table of Rosemary Coffin and Maryanna Hatch, a grassroots idea took shape. Their goal was to create an active community of interested adults who cared about each other and the world around them.
The result is a nationally accredited life care community with remarkable opportunities for personal growth, creativity, friendship, wellness, good food, natural beauty, and active participation in the things we love most about life.
As an independently operated life care community, RiverWoods also offers significant peace of mind, with guaranteed lifetime access to private rooms in Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing if ever needed, with no time limit and no significant increase in fee (just a small charge for two additional meals per day). Your assets are preserved as well, since 90% of the first person entrance fee you pay is refundable to you or your estate.
With 3 campuses on 200 wooded acres surrounded by the natural beauty of New Hampshire, RiverWoods provides a wide variety of options to choose a home that suits your personality, and endless opportunities to live the life you choose.
