Sometimes, all it takes is one patch of ice, one missed step, one minor fall, and your entire life can be thrown into discord for months. A routine hip surgery becomes a significant lifestyle struggle, as the question “where do you go for rehab?” drives all daily decisions.
At RiverWoods, there is no question.
Our Medicare-certified Skilled Nursing Units provide 24-hours a day, seven days a week care by licensed nurses, for residents who require on-going monitoring, assessment and treatment. In addition, a full range of rehabilitation therapies, social services, nutritional assessment, treatment and activities are provided. A rehabilitation gym is located adjacent to the units for residents’ convenience.
All our Skilled Nursing units are private one bedroom apartments with baths. Residents here enjoy three nutritious meals per day, served in the assisted living dining room.
