RiverWoods chef takes center stage to give residents a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the kitchen
Recently, a group of approximately 40 RiverWoods residents had the pleasure of watching Chef Adam Novak, Manager of Dinning Services at The Woods, prepare a Salmon for use in our kitchen for the Salmon entree. Adam was introduced by Jim Collins, Director of Dinning Services for RiverWoods, along with a representative of Taylor Lobster, the company that supplies RiverWoods with all of its fresh fish. Jim indicted that he hoped this would be the first of a number of these special programs to showcase the processes used to prepare food for our dining rooms.
Following a question and answer session, Adam proceeded to "Fabricate" a 15 pound fresh Salmon for us Step by step until the fish was ready for the kitchen at RiverWoods.
