The same factors that make New Hampshire a great place to retire, also play a big role in economic recovery. That's according to Ross Gittell, Economist and Chancellor of the Community College System of New Hampshire. Gittell recently presented his economic outlook for retirement here at RiverWoods. Gittell said we can expect a slow recovery over the next one to two years. In the video clip below, Gittell explains why NH is well positioned for economic recovery.

Ross Gittell is an award-winning economic researcher, business analyst and forecaster. He has been interviewed by national and international media, such as The Wall Street Journal, National Public Radio, NBC News, BBC, and Nippon Television. He holds the James R. Carter Professional Chair at the Whittemore School of Business. A Ph D graduate in Public Policy from Harvard, with an MBA from US-Berkeley and launched his academic career with an A.B. in Economics from University of Chicago. Gittell has spent more than two decades honing his scholarly focus to apply economic, organizational and managment theory and statistics to understand and project regional economic trends.
